Jalan Besar Salon will also feature a bookstore partnership with local art book retailer Basheer Graphic Books​.

​

A selection of books related to the exhibition's themes will be curated for display and retail at both The Salon and Basheer Graphic Books from 1 November till 1 December.

To add another dimension to the content curation, a series of events will be held at Basheer Graphic Books, including the second Speak Your Mind (informal open mic event for public participation), as well as panel discussions with local creatives.

 

Basheer has indisputably been a staple bookstore in the lives of Singaporeans, not just in the creative field. This collaboration aims to recognize the bookstore’s role in nurturing us for the past 30 years.
